What we offer through Mental Health Services.

The Mental Health Outpatient program at Inner County Outreach, offers services that include, but are not limited to: individual, group, and family counseling and education on wellness, recovery, and resiliency. Services are available to all ages and medication management is available and designed to provide appropriate levels of care to those experiencing a significant and acute disruption in their ability to cope with their daily lives.

Visits are available on-site and through telemedicine. 

Our program accepts various insurances included Maryland Medicaid, reach out directly below to inquire about eligibility.

Individuals (Adult & Adolescent)

Services for individuals include, but are not limited to counseling, life skills training, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and crisis contingency planning. All individuals desiring to receive services from the agency will be screened to determine eligibility for admission. Services are available on-site and via telemedicine.


Family Program

Functional Family Therapy (FFT)

Functional Family Therapy is designed to strengthen the parent-child relationship while supporting children's social, emotional, and behavioral functioning across all areas of development. Services are available on site and via tele-medicine.

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

Family counseling, training, and support is available through ICO's Mental Health Program. Parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) is a family-centered treatment approach for children ages 2–7 with disruptive behavior and has also been used with abused and at-risk children ages 2–12. All families desiring to receive services from the agency will be screened to determine eligibility for admission. Services are available on site and via tele-medicine.

Am I eligible?

ICO is not able to provide services for the following:

  • Individuals with the sole diagnosis of substance abuse

  • Individuals seeking one-time psychiatric evaluations

  • Individuals with a sole diagnosis of developmental or intellectual disabilities

  • Individuals under the age of 2

*Families found eligible for services will receive a comprehensive clinical assessment.
