Inner County Outreach is proud to announce LaSonya Brown as the new President of our Board of Directors. LaSonya is a dedicated leader with nearly four decades of engineering experience and a proven record of innovation,
problem-solving, and mentorship. Her history with ICO runs deep—she previously served as Program Developer, where she played a key role in strengthening program evaluation and transitioning ICO to evidence-based reporting.
In addition to her professional expertise, LaSonya is passionate about faith, family, and community. She serves as a Deacon and leader in her church, guiding children, youth, and women through Bible study and mentorship. We are excited to welcome LaSonya into this leadership role and look forward to
the vision and dedication she will bring to ICO’s mission of serving families and strengthening communities.
LaSonya Brown brings both professional expertise and a deep commitment to faith and service to her role as President of the ICO Board of Directors. With nearly 40 years of experience as an engineer, she currently serves as a Senior Data Engineer at Cotiviti, Inc. LaSonya has a long history with ICO, having previously served as a program developer from 2000–2006, where she helped advance evidence-based programming and strengthen organizational credibility with funders. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she actively serves her church community as a Deacon
and Bible study leader for women, youth, and young adults.
